We hope you enjoy shopping with us, but before you do please read through our RugModern Terms of Service (‘Terms’) below before using this or any RugModern website on which these terms may reside. If you visit or shop at Rugmodern.ca, then it is our understanding that you are agreeing to these conditions. Please review these Terms carefully as it gives you valuable information regarding expectations and privacy between RugModern and you. By using this site, you confirm you are of legal age and legally competent to agree to and comply with these Terms. 

By accessing our Site including, browsing this site, using any information, materials, products or services made available through this Site and/or submitting any information to us, you agree to the Terms including privacy, shipping, returns, warranty and pricing. We at RugModern are open to working with you if certain situations may arise and can be addressed directly with us as we value your business and want to make purchasing from us as easy as possible! RugModern does reserve the right to change the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Return Policy and Shipping Policy without notice if need be to change with an ever growing business and field. If you proceed to make a purchase and/or give your information then you are agreeing to the Terms of Service at the time of ‘Effective Date’ listed above. 

We stand by our quality product and customer service so this Site and its Terms have been tailored for personal use for you. We cannot assume responsibility on behalf of a third party person or third party company as we cannot comply with their Terms and Services. As part of our Terms of Service and from any purchases you make, you may receive periodic communications from RugModern including emails and SMS (If you opt into an SMS program) regarding your order confirmations, payment confirmations and receipts, shipping confirmations and updates. Please make sure to provide us with the correct contact information so you don’t miss anything! (And be sure to check your spam or junk, just in case!)

Product Information

We try to keep up to date as much as possible and notify our valued customers of any forthcoming changes, but at times the goods available on the Site can change without notice and may be only available while supplies last. 

Although RugModern has made reasonable efforts to display and describe our products,  their true colours and textures accurately, there can be discrepancies and typographical errors including images, specifications and availability. Products displayed may not be available at time of purchase and may be out-of-stock or discontinued unless we have confirmed your order. We reserve the right to update or change prices without notice due to rising costs and inflation. Once you have purchased a product and paid, you are guaranteed the pricing at that time and don’t need to worry about additional hidden fees. Prices of the same product may vary between Rugmodern.ca and other retail websites. Rugmodern is not responsible for pricing on other parties' sites and cannot guarantee offerings of equal, lesser, greater or ‘price match’ pricing. If there is a significant difference, please bring it to our attention and we will do our best to rectify it for you.  

As we want you to remain a loyal customer, we do offer promotional sales and coupons from time to time for you to get the very best deal! However, RugModern may impose conditions on a coupon, coupon code, promotional code or any similar promotions without prior notice and it may expire if no time frame is given in writing. So it's best to apply for the promotion as soon as you can to take advantage of our amazing offers. 

Payment and Billing

Thank you for your purchase! To move forward in the process of receiving your beautiful new rug, you must  have a valid form of payment with the authorized methods available as listed. Your personal information on the card and method of payment used must match the information provided at the time of check out so we know it’s you!. Rugmodern.ca will list all applicable fees and taxes at time of check out so there’s no hidden surprises for you. RugModern (Site) is not responsible for use of fraudulent payments and information provided by the user. The terms of your payment will be based on your payment method and may be determined by agreements between you and your financial institution, credit card issuer or other provider of your chosen payment method. 

All taxes charged are based on applicable federal, provincial and harmonized tax rates based on the delivery address associated with your order. Where required by law, sales tax will be applied to the shipping and handling charges that you see on your receipt. Individuals that may qualify for a tax exemption, please contact our customer service department at customercare@rugmodern.ca to verify your tax exempt status qualifications and we’ll happily apply it for you. 

All payments will be processed prior to shipping any products to you. If the payment is unable to be processed or declined for any reason your order may be canceled. We will let you know if this occurs and may hold your order for you. Please contact your financial institution on your method of payment to address any concerns or queries.

We have taken great care to craft this Site for you so you can make the best, well informed decision for your home decor needs. The content and materials displayed or available to you including any text, graphics, data, articles, photos, images, products, illustrations, digitable files, trademarks, logos, product names, slogans, or any other content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and must remain in possession of RugModern. Please abide by all copyright laws and notices and make sure not to copy, modify, publish, distribute, upload, display or sell without the consent of RugModern.
